Telemundo began broadcasting March 6 from full-power television station KDEN-TV, Channel 25 in Denver.

The station's signal now reaches all of Denver's Spanish-language television households. And at 5000kW, it is one of the most powerful television signals in Colorado.

KDEN is airing Telemundo programming pursuant to a time brokerage agreement, pending FCC approval of Telemundo's application to acquire the station. Denver is one of the country's fastest growing Hispanic markets, accounting for more than 194,000 Hispanic TV households and a Hispanic penetration of 14 percent. With a total population of more than 3.6 million in 2004, almost 20 percent of Denver's population is Hispanic.
