Seminar to focus on emerging ENG digital technology

The Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) and the SBE are organizing a half-day seminar to address unfolding technologies used in digital electronic newsgathering. The conference will take place in conjunction with the 11th Annual Hollywood Post Alliance Technology Retreat in February 2006.

The seminar, which takes place Feb. 21, 2006, in Palm Springs, CA, will feature experts involved in the development of digital ENG technology and related standards. Presentations will cover topics including the technical aspects of the Data Return Link system, digital ENG implementation considerations, frequency coordination, spectrum issues and HDTV from the field.
