Television Quatre Saisons purchases Dielectric FLEXLine coaxial cable

FLEXLine low-loss (FLF) and superflexible (FLS) foam cables combine superior electrical performance and flexibility with robust construction..

Quatre Saisons (formerly Cogeco Radio-Television) has purchased a 1350ft reel of continuous-run, 5in-diameter air dielectric cable as part of a complete transmission system including filters, antennas and line from Dielectric Communications.

Dielectric, the sole supplier for this transmission system, shipped the cable to a remote transmission site located at Mt. Carmel in Trois-Rivières, Québec.

The FLEXLine foam cable complements the company’s FLEXLine air dielectric product line introduced in 2003.

Intended for mobile telecommunication, microwave transmission, broadcasting transmission and other communications systems, FLEXLine low-loss (FLF) and superflexible (FLS) foam cables combine electrical performance and flexibility with robust construction.

Type FLF is normally used for primary feeders, while Type FLS is typically used for jumper assemblies.
