Anystream adds H.264 capability to Media Lifecycle platform

ATEME has integrated its Kyrion file encoder with Anystream’s Media Lifecycle platform, giving content and service providers the ability to include H.264 assets within their media management systems.

Anystream’s Media Lifecycle platform is used to produce, manage and monetize media for on-demand syndication over most networks, including mobile IPTV, the Web and other platforms. The Kyrion File Encoder 2.0 is a solution for MPEG-4/H.264 content production, featuring tools for preprocessing, video and audio encoding and multiplexing high-quality media under tight bandwidth restrictions.

H.264 file-based systems are popular among content providers because they can be used to simultaneously adapt repurposed content to multiple devices and platforms.
