Acrodyne adds to transmitter lineup with new solid-state LPTV transmitters

At NAB2008, Acrodyne Industries (Ai) introduced in cooperation with Linear Industries a low power line of solid-state transmitters targeted at the price conscious community broadcast service and LPTV users.
Ai showcased the 200W Linear transmitter in its booth that is representative of the full line from Linear. The addition of the transmitters to its offerings is well suited for the LPTV market in both analog and digital configurations. Ai has been providing low power products and services for 40 years and continues to support the thousands of systems currently on the air worldwide. The company will support the new product with parts and service from its factory in Oaks, PA.
