RF Central rolled out its new RFX-PRX-II portable handheld COFDM monitor/receiver at IBC2008.
Well suited for a range of applications, including ENG confidence monitoring and security surveillance, the lightweight palm-sized receiver (available in 2GHz and 5.8GHz) is packaged in a compact housing. To ensure durability, the system is fully ruggedized using an ABS plastic shell.
Delivering extreme sensitivity, the PRX-II is equipped with a 5.6in high-resolution screen and offers record and playback capabilities via a user-replaceable flash memory card. While currently available in 2GHz and 5.8GHz frequency bands, other frequency bands can be furnished upon request. The unit receives COFDM DVB-T modulation in modes QPSK, 16QAM and 64 QAM.
