NTIA LPTV Upgrade Program meeting
Date: Oct. 24, 10 a.m.
Location: Department of Commerce Building, Washington, D.C.
The Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration will hold a public meeting regarding its Low-power Television Upgrade Program under which eligible low-power television broadcast stations, Class A television stations, and TV translator stations or booster stations may be reimbursed for equipment to upgrade from analog to digital operation in rural communities.

Deadline for filing amendments to FCC cross-ownership waiver

The FCC Media Bureau has extended the deadline till Nov. 7 for filing amendments to existing waiver requests of the FCC’s newspaper/broadcast cross-ownership rule.
