ESE has introduced the DV-201, an SDI (3G, HD and SD) 1 x 4 distribution amplifier that can distribute 3Gb/s, 1.5Mb/s and 270Mb/s data rates.

The DV-201 automatically detects the data rate and then re-clocks and equalizes the signal. It can equalize 1312ft at 270Mb/s, 656ft at 1.5Mb/s and 459ft at 3Gb/s of 1694A coax cable. An external power supply is not required as the DV-201 is self-contained requiring only 117VAC or 220VAC (option J) to operate.

The unit is housed in a black anodized aluminum enclosure (1.6in x 7in x 5in) that can be easily placed behind an equipment rack or in the rack by specifying the rack mount option. The DV-201 is now available and ready to ship.
