Network Electronics will demonstrate its new FRS-HD-CHO HD/SD frame sync module at IBC2008 in Amsterdam.

Part of the company’s Flashlink signal processing/optical distribution range, the module is well suited for use with electronic newsgathering and satellite newsgathering vans where it is critical to provide an uninterrupted signal feed to downstream equipment, such as MPEG-2 encoders.

The new Flashlink module can be added to any field-deployed unit. It removes glitches from the input signal and provides error-free synchronous switching between two sources.
