Lopez, Hogan, Hand, Cummis elected as national SBE officers

Vincent Lopez, director of engineering at Sinclair Broadcast Group-owned WSYT-TV and WNYS-TV in Syracuse, NY, has been elected president of the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
The SBE announced Lopezs election along with the other winners of its election of national officers. They include:
Ralph Hogan, director of engineering, KJZZ-FM/KBAQ-FM in Tempe, AZ, as vice president.
Ted Hand, chief engineer, WSOC-TV, WAXN-TV in Charlotte, NC, as secretary.
Andrea Cummis, consultant and project manager, Media Project Partners, in Roseland, NJ, as treasurer.
Those elected to two-year terms on the Board of Directors include:
Mark Heller, president, general manager, and chief engineer, WTRW/WGBW Radio Station in Two Rivers, WI.
James Leifer, director of engineering and IT, Clear Channel Communications South Florida, in West Palm Beach, FL.
Jerry Massey, corporate regional engineer, southeast, Entercom Communications, in Greenville, SC.
David Priester, director of technical operations, Roy H. Park School of Communications, Ithaca College, in Ithaca, NY.
Christopher Scherer, editor, Radio magazine, Overland Park, KS.
Joe Snelson, director of engineering, Meredith Broadcasting Group, in Henderson, NV.
