Telemak, V4x partner up for made-for-mobile TV service

At IBC2009, mobile content delivery company Telemak and video production software company V4x teamed up to deliver next-generation mobile TV channels and exclusively made-for-mobile TV content.
The V4x video production platform adds interactivity through interactive widgets for live moderated chat, quizzes and polls, animated banners and live, in-studio videos or channel events. Authoring tools simplify tasks such as programming video clip playlists and speed development of interactive services. Graphics are added with the click of a button, and templates can include fixed images and animations for branded programming. The V4x Sequencer features intuitive text, video and graphic tools, and a preview window that shows finished content as it will appear on mobile handsets.
Telemak supplies complete back-end service including video encoding, optimization for multiple handset operating systems, multistandard mobile TV support and program guide management.
