Broadcast Microwave Services introduced the Carry-Viewer III handheld dual diversity receiver for broadcast applications during the NAB Show.

Originally developed as a lightweight handheld viewer of surveillance video, the DVB-T-compliant receiver is well-suited for the motion picture and TV production industries.

The Carry-Viewer III offers movie or TV directors and production staff needing point-of-view video during production a microwave transmitter that sends scenes to a portable handheld receiver.

The company offers a variety of portable digital microwave transmitters and receivers that fit the requirement of this application. For example, the company’s CT24xx transmitter family paired with its Carry-Viewer III offers short- to medium-range SD transmission of video and audio.
