Here’s the story of a lovely lady who will urge peers of her three lovely girls to help their moms get through the DTV transition unscathed.

The Consumer Electronics Association has enlisted actress Florence Henderson, who played Carol Brady on TV’s “The Brady Bunch” to encourage baby boomers to help their parents, relatives and neighbors get ready for the DTV transition.

The public awareness campaign, “Convert Your Mom,” will begin with a May satellite media tour hosted by Henderson. It will include a special downloadable guide and tips to get ready for the transition.

The campaign will remind TV viewers of their options for the transition, including buying a new DTV set, subscribing to a pay-TV service or buying a DTV converter box.
