Dielectric’s new DeltVee panel antennas are vertically polarized for broadband operations.

Dielectric at NAB2008 announced two new antennas for mobile media transmissions: the DeltaVee and TUM panel antennas.

The DeltaVee UHF panel antenna is a vertically polarized antenna that offers broadband operation of 470MHz-698MHz and a typical VSWR of less than 1:1:1. Featuring Dielectric’s Deltawing design, the antenna is optimized for operation under all kinds of environmental conditions, including heavy ice loading and high winds. The TUM panel is a high-power broadband antenna with a variable polarization rate — from elliptical polarization to full circular polarization — enabling a range of omni or directional pattern options as well as unique elevation pattern requirements such as beam tilt and null fill. The TUM antenna provides for 200MHz bandwidth operation, with a VSWR less than 1:1:1 and a power rating of 2kW per panel.
