NTIA LPTV, translator digital conversion grant application
Date: June 12
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has extended the deadline for applications from low-power television and TV translator stations seeking grants from the Digital-to-Analog Conversion Program.

New DTV transition deadline
Date: June 12
The deadline for all full-power television stations to complete their transition to digital transmission has been postponed to June 12 at 11:59:59 p.m. local time. Stations wishing to transition prior to the new deadline must request special temporary authority using the “DTV engineering STA,” including an engineering analysis, and receive approval from the commission.

Extended license and construction permit deadline
Date: June 12
The FCC has extended the construction permit deadline to build a station’s full-authorized post-transition DTV facility till June 12 at 11:59:59 p.m. local time.
