Envivio said at the NAB Show that it is supporting the proposed ATSC Mobile DTV Candidate Standard for mobile TV broadcast in the United States in both its 4Caster C4 convergence encoder and M2 mobile encoder.

Envivio encoders were used in technology demonstrations throughout the development of the proposed ATSC Mobile DTV standard by contributing to groups including MPH and the A-VSB initiative.

Envivio encoders currently enable efficient delivery of high-quality advanced mobile broadcast TV services over a wide variety of delivery standards, including DVB-H, DVB-SH, ISDB-T and CMMB, to a broad range of mobile devices.

At the show, Envivio featured its encoders working in ATSC Mobile DTV demonstrations by Axcera and LARCAN.
