At this year's 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, Envivio demonstrated a new mobile TV encoder featuring quad-channel input for 3G networks.

The 1RU encoder supports multirate, multiresolution and multistandard operations, and is compliant with the 3GPP and 3GPP2 international mobile delivery standards, allowing operators to optimally distribute high-quality audio and video to mobile television subscribers. It comes with four analog video inputs, four analog stereo inputs and IP interfaces. Live bit stream switching is supported, along with most 1G, 2G, 2.5G and 3G mobile video applications.
