InfoGin, 724 combine solutions for adapting Web content to mobile screens

Apr 11, 2008 9:25 AM

InfoGin has integrated 724’s Seamless Access Content Adaptation Module into its Intelligent Mobile Platform (IMP). The joint solution analyzes standard Web site traffic in real time and adapts webpages into a format compatible with the capabilities of individual mobile devices.

The combined system is targeted at mobile operators looking to enhance the quality of end users’ browsing experience and, as a result, increase mobile Internet activity and data services revenues. 724’s Seamless Access solution is an “any-to-any” service traffic management solution that manages access traffic from subscribers and content providers, while InfoGin’s IMP is a server-based middleware platform that delivers any webpage to any mobile device, displaying the page tailored for the specific device.
