LARCAN shows off mobile TV products, services suite at NAB

LARCAN’s latest inside innovations will be on view at the NAB Show in Booth C2616, including the Magnum Series of mobile analog and digital transmitters for DVB-T/DVB-H, 1kW, 2.2kW, 4.4kW and 12kW.

The new Magnum Revolve is a digital solid-state UHF transmitter that incorporates new amplifier technologies, modularity, air cooling and hot-pluggable PAs and power supplies. Its features include:

  • State-of-the-art digital modulator;
  • RF amplifier featuring LDMOS technology;
  • Multiple regulated power supplies;
  • Modular, hot-pluggable, fully redundant design;

Incite is the newest member of LARCAN’s MXi Revive Series of analog and digital mobile transmitters. The low-power solutions, offering choices from 10W to 350W digital, is designed to address the emerging DVB-T/DVB-H markets and single-frequency networks worldwide for broadcast applications and mobile video. With a compact design, Incite's features include a touch-sensitive LCD display designed to monitor and report all operating parameters, as well as:

  • Support for DVB, DVB-H and all analog and digital standards;
  • State-of-the-art digital modulator;
  • Broadband frequency-agile design;
  • LDMOS technology amplifier design;
  • Field-proof digital and DVB operation;
  • Fully regulated power supplies;
