Moscow mobile TV services get go-ahead

Subsidiaries of Russian mobile operators Sistema, Vimpelcom and Skartela are preparing to launch DVB-H mobile TV services in Moscow. The trial will retransmit eight of Russia's main TV channels and will be free initially. More channels are expected; however, operators have to get permission for each addition. Sistema has already tested the mobile TV waters through its TSTV subsidiary.
