ND SatCom recently upgraded its core technology platform SkyWAN with Load Balancing, a new software feature for the international VSAT market for IP data traffic.

Load Balancing improves the dynamic resource allocation of SkyWAN. In the case of a heavy load on a certain frequency channel, part of the IP traffic is transferred to alternative frequency channels. This maximizes bandwidth efficiency and enables the balanced use of available frequency channels for one destination. The system automatically detects transmission impairments on frequency channels and redirects the traffic.
