Ortiva Wireless partners with iLoop Mobile for mobile video delivery

iLoop Mobile is using Ortiva Wireless’s Mobile Content Delivery Network to deliver video streams to customers. The streams automatically adapt to each user’s changing network conditions.

Ortiva Wireless has partnered with iLoop Mobile to secure Mobile Previews, a mobile marketing platform for the entertainment industry providing movie, DVD, video game and TV show trailers to mobile phones, as a customer of Ortiva’s Mobile Content Delivery Network (Mobile-CDN).
Ortiva’s Mobile-CDN is a hosted solution allowing content providers to adapt video or audio streams, in real time, to an individual user’s unique and changing network conditions. It monitors each mobile connection and granularly adjusts the audio and video signal to account for rapidly varying conditions. As a result, users are better able to control and maximize the value of their investment in mobile video, while also receiving the highest possible quality of experience. The Mobile-CDN service also enables content providers and aggregators to better manage and scale video delivery, and control insertion of additional targeted viewer content.
