Video testing and deployment company Sencore announced last week that it promoted senior engineer Jeff Briden to director of product management and customer satisfaction.

“Jeff represents one of the brightest engineers in the industry," Sencore CEO John Suranyi said, "and understands not only the needs and requirements of our customers today, but also where technology is headed and how we can anticipate our customer’s needs and deliver products that enable scalability, reliability and maximize a customer’s infrastructure investment.”

Briden's vision and expertise has been instrumental in building Sencore from a small family-owned business to a private-equity-backed technology leader in MPEG-2/4 HD video solutions, according to the company. An 18-year Sencore veteran, he has led and managed all aspects of the development pipeline for Sencore's flagship receiver-decoder product families. Briden holds a bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University is active in many industry groups, including the IEEE, SMPTE, ATSC and NAB.
