TV3, serving Spain’s Barcelona region, is taking delivery on their fifth AMS Neve Libra Live II digital broadcast console.
Televisió de Catalunya is installing its fifth Libra Live digital broadcast console from AMS Neve. The console will be the third in its production section, complementing those in the broadcaster’s 24-hour news section. TV3 (Televisió de Catalunya) is the official Catalán language broadcaster serving Spain’s Barcelona region.
The new 42-fader Libra Live II/G broadcast audio desk is being delivered to TV3’s live production section, where it will be installed in a third production studio control room. That space is currently undergoing renovation and will be ready for live productions before this summer. Control rooms one and two at TV3 already feature Libra Live consoles. The three studios manage three large stage areas, each with its own MIOS I/O racks. Any MIOS rack from any stage area may be routed to any of the consoles, so that the Libras in all three control rooms have the flexibility to connect to any of the three stages in the production area.
Ongoing technical support for all five Libra Live consoles at Televisió de Catalunya is provided by Kash Products, the AMS Neve distributor for Spain.
