Jim Anderson, an internationally recognized recording engineer/producer, and Zoe Thrall, an industry veteran who has served as general manager for The Hit Factory, Avatar and The Power Station, have been named co-chairs of the 119th Audio Engineering Society Convention.
The convention, themed “Where Audio Comes Alive,” will take place Oct. 7-10 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Thrall was recently named director of studio operations for the new studio at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Anderson has worked with artists including Lorin Maazel, Creed Taylor, J.J. Johnson and Branford Marsalis.
