Audio-Technica introduced its Import Series headphones at the CES show in Las Vegas. Previously only available in Japan, the product line features 15 different models targeted at consumer-oriented market sectors, including audiophiles, DJs or mobile listening applications.

Three reference-quality open-air models and two closed-back models are now available for the audiophile market, while three professional monitor headphone models are offered for the professional DJ. Seven portable listening models are available, including a range of earbuds made from titanium or aluminum, clip-on models with machined aluminum or cherry wood housings, and an earbud/clip-on hybrid model featuring three-position design for custom fit.

The company has also announced the availability of its AT892 MicroSet subminiature headworn condenser microphone in a new cocoa color. The new color augments the product’s currently available offerings in theater beige and classic black.
