ATG Broadcast is extending the capability of its SAM-E series of audio monitoring units.

A new SDI-audio extractor option gives pushbutton front panel access to each of the eight audio channel pairs. Designed for desktop or rack-based installation, the SAM-E series has eight stereo inputs, digital carrier auto-sensing and amplified stereo outputs.

Three versions are available to suit applications in studio control rooms, edit suites, technical areas and mobile production vehicles. SAM-E-2 is a 2U rack-mountable system with dual peak-program meters, integral confidence loudspeakers and full front-panel control.
