David Claringbold, former technical operations manager for the Sydney Opera House, makes the move to Euphonix Europe and will be based in London, responsible for all Euphonix sales in continental Europe.
LOUD Technologies has named Colin Evan Quek as South East Asia Sales Director. Quek has managed operations, sales, and marketing, for Roadie Communications, NVM multimedia, Casio MI, Celviano Music, and TREKTECH. As LOUD’s new South East Asia Sales Director, Quek will be the primary contact for all LOUD Technologies-related sales business in Singapore.

Harris participates in Tomorrow Radio with turnkey demo at NAB2005
Harris’ Broadcast Communications Division will showcase its support of the Tomorrow Radio Project, spearheaded by National Public Radio through a continuous Tomorrow Radio demonstration at NAB2005. Tomorrow Radio enables broadcast of multichannel services, including secondary audio and data channels over the same transport stream as a station's main analog channel services. At NAB2005, Harris will provide a continuous Tomorrow Radio demonstration featuring its Mini-HD Series of separate amplification transmitters, FLEXSTAR HDI-100 importer, and DEXSTAR HD Radio exciter.

Sennheiser named HHB 2004 distributor of the year
Sennheiser Electronic Corporation (SEC) has been named HHB's 2004 worldwide distributor of the year. SEC handles distribution of all HHB professional audio products in the USA, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Sennheiser began distributing HHB on October 1, 2003.

Thomson CCBN purchases 27 Marantz PMD570 units
Thomson CCBN has purchased 27 Marantz Professional PMD570 pro-installation solid-state recorders as the primary audio recording and back-up systems for complex streaming web events, such as shareholder meetings and product launches. Thomson CCBN hosts these types of events in more than 46 countries each year. The 27 Marantz Professional PMD570 flash-based recorders were sold by Dale Pro Audio.

Millennia HV-3D preamplifiers for new Venezuelan symphony hall
The Venezuelan National Orchestra (La Orquesta Sinfonica de Venezuela) has installed 80 channels of Millennia HV-3D microphone preamplifiers into the new 11,000sq m Venezuelan Symphony Hall and Performing Arts Center in Caracas. Millennia HV-3 mic-amps were chosen as the orchestra’s front-end technology.

Telex takes on distribution of Blue Microphones
Telex Communications, distributor of Electro-Voice microphones, has announced that they have become the distributor of BLUE Microphones for Europe, Canada, South America, Africa, Middle East, and most of Asia.
