Furman Sound's full line of power conditioning products is now available in D-Tools system integration and design software. The partnership with D-Tools provides systems integrators and installers with easy access to all Furman product information.

D-Tools System Integrator 4.5 enables a full range of project management activities, including automated proposals, scheduling, purchase orders, drawings, and additional documents that streamline the integrated installation of audio and video products. By using a single, shared project file, users can download free product information from D-Tools' comprehensive database of products and their accessories, ensuring system designs that reference the most current product information. With the announcement of this new partnership, Furman Sound products are now included in the D-Tools product information database.

Furman's power conditioning products feature proprietary Series Multi-Stage Protection Plus (SMP+) technology, which combines three filtering and protection circuits:

  1. Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT) to suppress noise dramatically and consistently across the entire dynamic range;
  2. Series Multi-Stage Protection (SMP) to clamp and dissipate damaging transient voltages without sacrificing itself;
  3. Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) to protect against accidental connections to 208 or 240 VAC.
