X-Fighters live worldwide via Lawo DALLIS, Nova73 HD and mc˛66 technologies

Lawo’s DALLIS, Nova73 HD and mc_66 systems were critical in capturing multichannel audio for the live broadcast of motocross event X-Fighters in Madrid, Italy.
Approximately 150 signal sources were pre-mixed with more than 100 effect microphones using the automation of the Lawo mc˛66 in surround 5.1 in the main OB van (Alfacam OB11 with Nova73 HD system).
Three remote DALLIS frames were linked via optical fiber and connected to the Nova73 HD. For a DVD production after the event a 48-track machine was also redundantly linked.
