Solid State Logic announces U.S. promotions and hirings

SSL has announced several personnel moves in its sales and service sectors. George Horton has been promoted to sales manager for western United States, Mexico and South America. Horton, a 16-year veteran of the company, has held a number of service and sales-oriented positions, most recently as Los Angeles service manager and engineer.

Elsewhere in the company, Phil Scholes has moved from SSL’s New York offices to take over Horton’s former position as Los Angeles service manager, and service engineer Rob Penney has moved from the company’s United Kingdom offices to assume the same position at SSL New York. Bill Brown, a 14-year veteran of AMS Neve, has joined SSL as a service engineer in Los Angeles.
