Stations go 5.1

KVBC Las Vegas and KIRO-TV/DT in Seattle have both commenced 24-hour broadcasting using 5.1 surround audio. Both stations are using NeuStar MultiMerge, which enables the station to broadcast 5.1 from a two-channel source.
