Steinberg Media Technologies is shipping its Cubase SL3 software. The budget-oriented software (SL3 will cost $399.99; Cubase SL 2 owners can upgrade to Cubase SL3 for $99.99) version includes next-generation Audio Warp engine for importation of ACID files and time-stretching and pitch-shifting in real-time. The pre-record feature automatically records up to 10 minutes of audio, even if the record wasn’t engaged.
