A near record number of people attended the 117th AES convention.
The 117th Audio Engineering Society Convention held in San Francisco, Oct. 28 – 31, attracted 16,153 attendees and 415 exhibitors, four short of an all-time AES high.
Convention Chair John Strawn reported that demonstrations, technical tours, papers and other special events were well attended.
The 118th Convention will be May 28-31, 2005, in Barcelona, Spain.
The 119th Convention is set for Oct. 7-10, 2005, in New York City.
