AKG goes online

AKG Acoustics has begun an effort to capitalize on e-commerce and generate sales using the MWRC online sales coordinator system. Beginning this month via its Web sites, AKG will offer its customers headphones, as well as B-stock microphones, wireless products and mic stands.

AKG Acoustics has partnered with MWRC to not only offer its products, but share the revenue with its retailers. Audio professionals and consumers will be able to purchase products directly from AKG through the its Web site. Future plans include the launch of new products directly through the Web site and other online activities. MWRC is an outsourcing company that handles the intricacies of e-commerce and online sales for fortune 1000 companies. It is MWRC’s first foray into the audio industry.
