CABLE UP by Vu revives a trusted brand name with quality analog and digital connectivity solutions.
FDW-Worldwide, holders of the trademark and remaining inventory of CABLE UP brand cables from TEAC, has reintroduced the improved product line to meet new standards of quality through building it by hand at the company’s manufacturing site in Middleton, WI. Features of the new CABLE UP by Vu line include maximum flexibility at low temperatures, ruggedness with maximum flex life and abrasion resistance, high purity OFC copper with a high strand count, low capacitance for extended high frequency response and enhanced stability for power amplifiers and active microphones.
The initial product offering will include the rugged MIC-DP and MIC-D, high-speed, AES/EBU-capable mic cables for digital environments that offer high flexibility and low 13pf/ft capacitance. The MIC-AN is a rugged, Neoprene-jacketed analog cable for touring applications. The firm will also offer a Neoprene speaker cable, the SPK-NEO, combining extreme ruggedness with exceptional audio performance.
CABLE UP by Vu also offers a wide variety of related connectivity products, including S/PDIF coax and ADAT fiber-optic cables, for broadcast, touring and studio applications.
