Turner Broadcasting System Latin America is one of the largest Morpheus automation clients in the world to date, according to Pro-Bel. Turner’s new playout and transmission facility in Buenos Aires, Argentina, now has the potential to handle 48 channels via its Morpheus system. The facility transmits services across Latin America with 14 channels currently on-air.
To commemorate the achievement, the company presented a plaque to Turner. In accepting the award, Fabrizio Tapia, VP of network operations for Turner Broadcasting System Latin America, said, "We have built a cutting edge facility that will allow us to extend our reign as the region's pre-eminent broadcaster."
