The CP Communications OB trailer fleet will now bring Stagetec digital mixing and routing to a broad array of sporting events.

At the recent League Technology Summit held by Sports Video Group in New York City, German console manufacturer Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup entered into a partnership with mobile production provider CP Communications. As part of the agreement, Stagetec will supply digital 5.1 mixing platforms using its CRESCENDO and AURUS control surfaces coupled with the NEXUS router, which include SDI, HD and 3G embedders and de-embedders, Dolby-E and MADI distribution.

“Many of our entertainment and broadcast clients are asking us for a better digital 5.1 mixing platform. We looked at an array of digital mixing platforms and concluded that the Stagetec consoles, combined with the proven power of the Stagetec NEXUS router, will give our clients the greatest flexibility and best performance for the money,” said Kurt Heitmann, SVP of sales and marketing for CP Communications. “This partnership makes us one of the most comprehensive solution providers in this digital age for entertainment and sports broadcasting”.

With locations in New York, Burbank, CA, and Orlando, FL, CP Communications has a reputation for relevant, solution-based production services. Part of the offering will include Stagetec consoles and NEXUS router systems in CP trailers that will be purpose-built for sports broadcasting.
