SSL offers hands-on audio console demonstrations at NBA All-Star Weekend

The C100 is used by a variety of sports productions for stereo and 5.1 mixing.

Broadcast audio console manufacturer Solid State Logic is offering a hands-on demonstration of its C100 Digital Broadcast Console Feb. 13-14 in the Mirage Hotel's Tower Suite in Las Vegas.

The two-day C100 presentation precedes the NBA's All-Star Weekend. The 2007 NBA All-Star Game will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Michael Giacalone, Comcast SportsNet's lead mixer, will co-host the demonstration. Giacalone has mixed more than 500 Philadelphia 76ers, Phillies and Flyers games in 5.1 on the SSL C100 installed at the Wachovia Center.

The C100 is used by a variety of sports productions for stereo and 5.1 mixing, including NBA Entertainment, Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., the New England Sports Network, National Mobile Television, the Golf Channel and Comcast SportsNet New York.
