WorxAudio announces M80X5i-P line array system

The WorxAudio TrueLine M80X5i-P packs five discrete two-way line array elements into a single cabinet.
WorxAudio Technologies has added a new line of loudspeaker systems designed specifically for the contractor/installation market — the M80X5i-P Install Line Array. Part of WorxAudio’s TrueLine Series, this two-way, high-efficiency, ultracompact line array system is designed for natural-sounding reproduction of speech and music content.
The M80X5i-P incorporates five modules, each with a medium format, 1in exit compression driver coupled to a stabilized proprietary FlatWave Former wave-shaping device. The modules are paired with dual 8in cone transducers coupled to the Acoustic Intergrading Module (AIM) that minimizes comb filtering throughout the entire operating spectrum and provides a rich, fully balanced sound with a frequency range that spans 45Hz-20kHz. Each M80X5i-P loudspeaker system provides a total of five high-frequency drivers and 10 bass drivers, all housed in a rugged enclosure.
The new M80X5i-P’s cabinet is constructed from sturdy multiply Baltic Birch and is heavily braced for cabinet rigidity. Protecting the enclosure is a multilayered, catalyzed polyurethane finish, available in black or white. A 14-gauge, perforated, cloth-backed, powder-coated steel grill with a high transmission ratio protects the transducer component.
The new M80X5i-P ships with custom-designed flyware, and its powder-coated aluminum TrueAim grid incorporates a series of holes that control the angle of the suspended enclosure. Collectively, the five modules of the M80X5i-P are splayed to produce a 150-degree horizontal by 40-degree vertical dispersion that creates a holding pattern ranging 300Hz-18kHz. The M80X5i-P’s included EASE Focus aiming software incorporates all system parameters and provides a single-step autofocus process that details the optimum angle to suspend the enclosure.
