Zaxcom will unveil the IFB800 time code/IFB transmitter and TRX700 plug-on transmitter/recorder for shotgun mics at NAB2007.

The new IFB800 transmitter transmits time code, IFB audio and remote control commands to the Zaxcom TRX/ZFR product line. The IFB800 transmits time code to synchronize the internal recording of a wireless TRX/ZFR unit to match a camera or other recording device. Once the unit receives the IFB800's time code transmission, the system's built-in time code generator jams to the external signal.

The new TRX700, a plug-on transmitter/recorder, provides a removable miniSD card that will record up to 12 hours of time code-referenced audio. The TRX700 uses 100 percent digital modulation with audio quality that rivals a hard-wired connection.
