Audio-Technica has reengineered its UniPoint Series of microphones.

The result is improved sonic quality, durability, clarity, reliability and ease of installation. With more than 30 new hanging, gooseneck, boundary and handheld microphones, the UniPoint line supplies a mic solution for every acoustical challenge with cardioid, hypercardioid and omnidirectional elements, as well as the cardioid UniLine mic with its 90-degree pickup pattern.

The company also announced the new ATH-T44 dynamic stereo headphones that feature a circumaural, closed-back design. The headphones also feature proprietary 40mm drivers with high-output neodymium magnets and copper-clad aluminum wire voice coils. The ATH-T44’s have an extended frequency response of 18 – 23,000Hz and a sensitivity of 108dB.

Rotating earpieces offer monitoring flexibility, while the lightweight, self-adjusting headband and padded ear cushions ensure maximum listening comfort with minimal ear fatigue. The company also introduced the ATH-T22 Dynamic Stereo headphones.
