"Making the Band" will be captured via Aviom's AN-16/i-M mic input modules, which are connected to more than 40 microphones running over a single Cat 6 cable at 300ft.

Aviom's A-Net technology is being used in a variety of reality television productions. The technology offers reliable solutions for audio transport.

Recent productions using Aviom include MTV's "Making the Band 4," Nick at Nite's "Funniest Mom in America 3," and VH1's "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels."

The productions use the A-Net digital audio networking distribution products to minimize the time-consuming, tedious and complicated cabling set-up and configuration.

"Making the Band" will be captured via Aviom's AN-16/i-M mic input modules, AN-16/0 output modules and AN-16SBR system bridge. Throughout the set, the gear is connected to more than 40 microphones running over a single Cat 6 cable at 300ft.

On Nick at Nite's "Funniest Mom in America 3," the production team is using Aviom16/i-M mic input modules and 16/o-Y1 Yamaha output cards. The Aviom equipment accommodates the show's weekly traveling format, replacing the need for heavy and extensive copper snakes with the use of one Cat 6 cable running up to 500ft.

"Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" will be captured using four Aviom 16/i-M mic input modules and AN-16SBR system. Preserving the aesthetic value of the Los Angeles mansion set, Aviom's A-Net technology is discreetly wired throughout the house and linked to more than 20 wireless mics, all of which run into the mic pres for isotrack recording.
