Three AD149 portable mixers are revolutionizing production of the long-running CBS soap opera “Guiding Light.”
CBS purchased three eight-channel Audio Developments AD149 portable mixers for use on its daily soap opera “Guiding Light.”
The AD149 mixers were supplied as part of a large package organized by Gotham Audio in New York City. “Guiding Light” has changed the way it produces the show, and the Audio Development mixers are the core of a new audio system that replaces a traditional, large format console.
The AD149 location mixer is custom made and designed specifically for the film and drama markets.
