Digidesign's ICON hits half-century sales mark

The Digidesign ICON large-format integrated console environment has sold 50 units since its introduction earlier this year.

The ICON combines a digital mixing environment with the Pro Tools|HD system. More than fifty music, post, film, broadcast and education facilities have installed the ICON to either replace their existing mixing consoles, upgrade Pro Tools rooms, and/or build new studios from the ground up.

Bionic Media, O’Henry Sound Studios, Mirror Image Recorders, Atlantis Group and Widget Post have purchased the console.
