The compact, new line array element and subwoofer to the JBL VerTec line share networking technology to allow extensive monitoring and control.

JBL Professional has expanded the VerTec product line with the new VT4887ADP three-way line array element and VT4881ADP powered subwoofer. These two new compact, powered models are designed to deliver high-quality sound reinforcement of music and speech in a variety of applications, including concert audio, corporate A/V and theatrical presentations of all types.

The VT4887ADP is a compact, powered lightweight three-way line array element housing two 8in woofers, four 4in midrange radiators and two 1in exit high-frequency drivers. Designed in cooperation with sister companies Crown and dbx, the JBL DP2 DrivePack features 2200W peak (1100W continuous) output power and comprehensive digital signal processing, including patented Class-I power amplifier technology from Crown and onboard DSP functionality that communicates readiness and operational status and monitors fault detection of components and electronics.

The VT4881ADP is a compact, lightweight vented subwoofer enclosure housing JBL's exclusive new 2269G Ultra Long Excursion 18in woofer and a JBL DrivePack integrated power and DSP electronics package. Optimized for subwoofer applications, the DP1 provides 3,600W peak (1800W continuous) output power.

Both models feature rigging hardware that uses quick-release pins and end-mounted metal frames to couple adjacent units together in rigid but flexible arrays. The VT4887ADP suspension hardware features quick-release pins and end-mounted metal tubes to couple adjacent units together.
