K-Tek’s lightweight Graphite Traveler boom pole telescopes from 22in to 2.2m in length.
K-Tek’s Avalon Traveler boom pole is now available in a sturdy lighter weight, carbon fiber version. Designed to fit in a standard equipment case, the six-section Traveler boom extends from a minimum length of just 22in to a maximum reach of 2.2m. The telescoping sections lock together via K-Tek’s proprietary captive collett coupling system for maximum holding power with minimum torque.
The Graphite Traveler is available in two versions. The KEG-88CC is factory wired with an internal coiled cord and an XLR connector in the base, while the KEG-88 is unwired. Both use the same lightweight graphite tubing as the company’s Klassic boom pole series, making the Traveler ideal for ENG and EFP production.
