Lexicon launches Omega Studio Desktop Bundle

Lexicon Pro has launched the Omega studio desktop recording bundle, a completely integrated computer recording package. The Omega bundle combines Lexicon’s Omega Studio USB recording interface with Steinberg Cubase LE 4 multitrack audio and MIDI recording software, the Lexicon Pantheon VST reverb plug-in, and an AKG D 88 S lead vocal microphone and mic cable. It contains all the necessary hardware and software components to transform a PC or Mac into a professional 24-bit recording studio and allows the user to start recording immediately.

The Omega Studio recording interface is built around a mixer paradigm. The interface is an eight-input, four-bus, two-output USB I/O mixer with inserts, instrument input, MIDI I/O and complete metering and monitoring functions. It has the ability to record up to four tracks at once. The user also gets intuitive hands-on control over the most important functions, creating an easy-to-use interface for creative recording.

Cubase LE 4 software integrates seamlessly with the Omega I/O mixer to achieve a complete, easy-to-use, 48-track recording solution. Reverb is available through the Pantheon VST plug-in, allowing the user to add that full, rich luster of reverb and delay to create a polished and professional mix. The AKG D 88 S dynamic handheld microphone for lead vocalists completes the package.
