Miranda to highlight new products at IBC2008

Miranda Technologies will be highlighting multiple new HD products at IBC2008, including a single-card Densité 3G/HD/SD video and audio processor, new expansion options for the Kaleido-X multiviewer and new audio and graphics capabilities for the Imagestore 750 master control and branding processor.
The new Densité XVP-3901 offers advanced 3G/HD/SD video and audio processing on a single card and is ideal for incoming/outgoing feed applications. The module accepts 3G/HD/SD signals via BNC or fiber and provides simultaneous 3G/HD and SD outputs. Signals can be up/down/crossconverted and frame synchronized. Black side panels introduced during up/downconversion can be filled using an integral background keyer.
The XVP-3901 provides 16 channels of embedded audio processing, with four AES inputs and outputs. Advanced audio functions include compressor/limiter/expander capabilities and 5.1-to-stereo downmixing. The XVP-3901 is designed for the new Densité 3RU frame, which can combine both 2RU and 3RU cards.
The Kaleido-X high-quality, multi-image display system can now be integrated with Pro-bel's Sirius routers to create highly robust, combined multi-image and routing systems, with control of up to 512 HD/SD video inputs and up to 64 multi-image display outputs. This tight integration offers a flexible expansion path for the Kaleido-X multiviewer without compromising its image quality and layout flexibility. The system also offers intuitive on-screen mouse router control and dynamic source text tracking.
The new Intuition XG coprocessor extends the graphics capabilities of the Imagestore 750 HD/SD master control and channel branding system. Intuition XG is ideal for complex, data-driven graphics, including in-show and interstitial promos. The coprocessor offers multilevel character generation, animation and clip playout and can be readily controlled by Miranda's Xmedia graphics and voice-over automation. Xmedia streamlines graphics media management, template creation, data interfacing and complex sequence control.
New advanced audio capabilities for the Imagestore 750 master control and branding processor include full support of Dolby E decoding/encoding and high performance stereo-to-5.1 upmixing using Linear Acoustic technology.
