Neutrik introduces 4-pole Y-split OpticalCon

Neutrik introduced the 4 pole Y-Split OpticalCon at AES 2006. This expands the OpticalCon system to include an assembled Y-split cable comprised of four multimode fibers within two OpticalCon connectors on each end of the cable.

Perfect for high-bandwidth AV or additional control signal transmission, Neutrik’s Y-Split OpticalCon is an ideal solution when a two-fiber system is insufficient. Accommodating a standard optical LC Duplex connector in an all-metal housing, the Y-Split has superior cable retention, features a push-pull locking mechanism and protects against dirt and dust via an automatically operated sealing cover.
